Henry Alfred Pegram

Henry Alfred Pegram (1862 - 1937) was active/lived in England.  Henry Pegram is known for Figure group sculpture, statues, building decoration.

Henry Pegram entered the Royal Academy Schools in 1881. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and won awards in 1882, 1884, and 1886. Pegram also won a bronze medal at the Paris International Exhibition in 1889 and a gold medal at Dresden in 1897.

His work includes several public statues of notable English subjects, candelabra for St. Paul's Cathedral, and sculpture for the entrace of the Imperial Institute; his bronze "Hylas" was presented to the nation by the Royal Academy and set up in the Rose Garden at Regent's Park in 1933.
