Dario Urzay

Dario Urzay (Born 1958) is active/lives in Spain.  Dario Urzay is known for Painting.

Darío de Urzay trained at the Fine Arts Faculty of the UPV-EHU, working as a lecturer at the Fine Arts Faculty of the Basque Country from 1983 to 1988, when he travelled to London for a year's stay. From 1989 he settled in New York, alternating his artistic work in this city with his work in Bilbao, until 1994, when he returned to this Spanish city (with a break between 1998 and 1999, when he returned to New York). Among other awards, in 1983 he received the First Prize in the "Gure Artea" competition; and the National Graphic Art Prize from the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts 

His work has been exhibited in Bilbao, Paris, Madrid, London, Barcelona, New York, Aalst (Belgium), Caracas (Venezuela), Helsinki (Finland), Álava, Burgos, Valencia, Los Angeles (United States), Vienna (Austria), etc., and is held in private collections as well as in the United States, and is kept in private collections as well as in national and international museum   ...  [Displaying 1000 of 1320 characters.]  Artist bio
