Alfred Aleksandrovich Girv (1880 - 1918) was active/lived in Russian Federation.  Alfred Girv is known for Still life and portrait painting.

Alfred Alexandrovich Girv (1880-1918) was born in the Russian city Pechory near the Estonian border.  In 1890 he began his studies with Julius von Klever at the Academy in St. Petersburg.  From 1898 to 1899 he attended the Academy in Rome and 1900 the art school of Anton Ažbe in Munich.  Girv worked in St. Petersburg, where from 1898 onward he exhibited his works, mainly still lifes, but also portraits.
