Ron Van Gennip (Born 1950) is active/lives in Australia.  Ron Van Gennip is known for Painting.

Ron Van Gennip was born in Sydney, Australia, to artistic parents who encouraged him to paint and sketch whilst the family were living in New South Wales.  At the age of 18 Gennip was awarded a 3 year scholarship to Sydney Technical College which led to him working with a prominent commercial art firm for 12 years. 

Whilst working at the firm Gennip also studied at the Drummayne Art Society, then led by the notable Australian artist Joshua Smith.  Eventually Gennip gave up commercial pursuits in favor of focusing on fine art.  Gennip has exhibited his impressionistic paintings in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and London and also collaborated with the esteemed Australian artist Robert Hagan.
