Federico Rossano (Naples, 31 August 1835 – Naples, 5 May 1912) was an Italian painter, son of Vincenzo, retired colonel of the Napoleonic armies in Russia. He enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, first choosing the architecture school and then changing direction and attending painting courses for a period, under the guidance of the painters Gennaro Ruo and Giacinto Gigante.
