Tien Chung Nguyen (1914 - 1976) was active/lived in Viet Nam, Asia.  Tien Nguyen is known for Painting.

Born in 1911, Nguy?n Ti?n Chung graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Indochina in 1941 in promotion XI: that of two other specialists in sanded lacquer, Nguy?n Van T? and especially Hoàng Tích Chù. With the latter, Nguy?n Ti?n Chung collaborated fruitfully upon obtaining his diploma in a common workshop to create in 1941 a series of large decorative lacquered screens and panels, often intended for the colonial elite and influenced by the aesthetic codes of the Art Deco period. Particularly versatile from a technical point of view, the artist is equally at ease with oil and lacquer, and is also brilliant in the technique of painting on silk. Nguy?n Ti?n Chung was often described by Vietnamese historiography as representative of the “national style” because he was attached to describing villagers, soldiers and workers according to criteria close to current socialist realism, to which he was able to bring a look always tinged with humanism.
